1:00 – 7:00 PM -ATHLETE CHECK-IN BEGINS*
Location: the Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort, 2559 Main Street Lake Placid.
*All athletes MUST provide photo identification in order to check –in and get race bib and timing device. All athletes must sign 2010 NY York State Dept. of Transportation Waiver and Lake Placid Marathon & Half 2010 Paper Waiver.

1:00 PM – “KIDS RUN TOO” FUN RUN waiver/sign up. FREE to the public for kids ages 12 and under. Event hosted by Run For Dad and the Lake Placid Marathon.
Location: The Olympic Oval Track, Main Street, Lake Placid
1:00 PM to Close - Fallen Arch Running Store, 2523 Main St., Lake Placid, present your Race Bib
1:00 PM to Close - High Peaks Cyclery Store, 331 Maint St, Lake Placid, present Race Bib for a $20 discount on Runing Shoes at High Peaks. Quantity & sizes limited.
2:00 PM – “KIDS RUN TOO” FUN RUN START (pre-sign up required beginning at 1:00 PM).
7:00 PM ATHLETE CHECK –IN ENDS (Race Day Check-In Details Below)
8:00 PM – T-SHIRT SIZE EXCHANGE; for those who want to exchange the T-Shirt they ordered at time of race entry. First come basis, exchange quantity limited.

SUNDAY, JUNE 13, 2010 - RACE DAY!
6:30 – 7:30 AM – RACE DAY ATHLETE CHECK –IN* for late arrivals (not recommended) PHOTO I.D. REQUIRED!
Location: Check-In Tent in the Olympic Oval at Race Start/Finish Area.
*All athletes MUST provide photo identification in order to check –in and get race bib and timing device and sign paper Waivers. Sorry NO exceptions.
6:30 AM – DRY BAG/COURTESY TENT OPEN
Location: A courtesy tent in the Olympic Oval will be available for bag drop-off. Do not leave valuables in your bag! The Lake Placid Marathon & Half is not responsible for the security of any bags.
7:00 AM – RACE ANNOUNCMENTS AND MUSIC BEGINS!
Location: RACE START LINE ON MAIN STREET AT OLYMPIC OVAL.
7:30 AM - RACE DAY ATHLETE CHECK –IN ENDS!
7:30 AM – ATHLETES ARE TO BEGIN LINING UP AT THE RACE START LINE ON MAIN STREET AT OLYMPIC OVAL.
7:45 AM - ALL ATHLETS MUST BE AT THE RACE START LINE
7:55 AM - FINAL RACE START COUNTDOWN
8:00 AM – GUN!! RACE BEGINS!
8:00 AM – 2PM ATHLETE VILLAGE OPEN –VENDOR SERVICES BEGIN
